The game and happyiz.com open on other websites. This page describes them and links to them; it loads nothing from other servers itself.
A café, and a small world around it.
Happyiz Overthinking Coffee Shop is part of the HappyİZ family. This page covers three things: a photo game with Istanbul’s street cats, information for anyone who’d like to open a Happyiz café in their own city, and happyiz.com, a platform for neurodivergent people.
Cat Me If You Can
A photo game with Istanbul’s street cats; our café is the game’s founding café.
Branches and partnership partly planned
For anyone who’d like to open a Happyiz café in their city: training, an individual agreement and the brand condition.
happyiz.com
A platform for neurodivergent people and those close to them: tests, a glossary, community, training videos.
Cat Me If You CanCats are our neighbours. Take photos, collect them, help them.
Cat Me If You Can is a photo game by HappyTuncay that runs in your browser: you photograph street cats in Istanbul and build your KediDex. It’s free and comes in six languages: Turkish, English, German, Russian, Arabic and Persian.
Our café is the game’s founding café. If you photograph 20 different verified cats on the same day (Istanbul time), you can choose a coupon for 15% off food and drinks for that day. At the café you open your live QR, it’s checked at the counter and you confirm in the app; the coupon works once and only on that day. The number of coupons per day is limited; ask at the café whether it can be combined with other discounts.
The game is a separate app on Tuncay’s website, happytuncay.com; this site only introduces it. The game stores your nickname, your cat photos and where you took them. Others only see the part of the photo with the cat, while your nickname can be visible to everyone in the game; the location is rounded to about 100 metres before it’s saved. The game’s own privacy notice explains the rest.
How to play
Only street cats count, not pets. You take the photo with your camera, with location access turned on; photos from your gallery are saved but don’t count. For the coupon you also need to agree to your photos being checked by AI (via Groq; only the close-up of the cat from your photo is sent). Without that you can still play, but the coupon counter won’t go up. Reaching 20 cats can take hours; there’s no guarantee.
How is the cat?
When you take a photo, you can note how the cat looks, for example hungry, thirsty, very thin, sick, injured or in danger. More serious reports such as very thin, sick, injured or in danger appear in the app under “Cats that need help”. A response from volunteers isn’t guaranteed, and the app doesn’t estimate age, weight or health. If you see a sick cat, ask a vet nearby or the municipality’s vet service.
Missing & found cats
Looking for your cat, or found one? You post a notice with a photo, neighbourhood, date and a rough point on the map. Others report “I saw a similar cat” or “This may be my cat”; only the two of you see the messages. Reading needs no account. Notices for pet cats are fine too. A report doesn’t prove it’s the same cat, and nothing is sent to your phone.
The rules
Keep your distance: don’t chase, corner or pick up cats. Let sleeping and eating cats rest, and no flash. If you want to feed them, only cat food and fresh water. Don’t photograph people, number plates or homes.
Istanbul only
The game covers all of Istanbul, the European and Asian sides and the Princes’ Islands; the first stop is Kadıköy. Photos taken outside Istanbul don’t count in the game.
For visitors
The app has four easy cat walks through Kadıköy. To keep the cats safe, the map shows places only roughly (about 100 metres).

Branches and partnershipA Happyiz café in your city?
Today there is exactly one Happyiz café: ours in Kadıköy. We’d like to work with people who want to open a Happyiz café in their own city, through training and an individual agreement. This is still being planned; the terms are settled in a personal conversation for each enquiry.
One condition is already set: the Happyiz name, the HAPPYiZ wordmark and the butterfly logo belong to Tuncay Sancak. Wherever a Happyiz branch or partner operates, the branch and every advert say so clearly; this condition will be written into every agreement.
If you’re interested in a branch or partnership, send a direct message to @happyizcoffee on Instagram. Please don’t use the WhatsApp group for this: everyone there can see what you write, and your number.
Training planned
Training before you open your café. Its content, length and location aren’t fixed yet.
Individual agreement planned
A separate agreement for each branch. Terms such as fees, duration and area are discussed in conversation; there’s no ready-made package today.
International planned
Our goal is to grow beyond Turkey as well. Which country comes first is still open.
Goes to Instagram (a service of Meta); this website doesn’t see what you write there.
Apart from the brand condition, everything in this section is a plan, not a binding offer. We make no statements about profit, turnover or payback.
happyiz.comFor neurodivergent people and those close to them.
happyiz.com is a platform Tuncay founded: for people with ADHD, autistic people, people with AuDHD and those close to them, in Turkish, German and English. It’s part of the same family as the café, but a separate website.
Joining is free. happyiz.com doesn’t diagnose and is no substitute for medical advice.
In an emergency, you can call 112 in Turkey and in Germany; in Germany you can also reach the Telefonseelsorge helpline on 0800 111 0 111.
Tests
Eleven self-tests. None of them is a diagnosis; your answers stay on this device.
Glossary
245 terms in plain language.
Community
Network and rules, meetups and events, chat and the Job Bridge.
Training videos
Open to anyone who wants to learn.
Places and professionals
Places and professionals can take a training course on happyiz.com: videos you can’t fast-forward, a final exam, then a badge and a participation certificate valid for one year. The certificate is not a medical or clinical accreditation. There are no trained places on the happyiz.com map yet; the network is just being built. Our café isn’t on it yet either.
Get involved
You can apply as a volunteer or as a representative for your city.
