Short and clear

This website itself collects no personal data. There are no forms, accounts, comments, newsletters or analytics tools.

• Data controller: Tuncay Sancak (Happyiz Overthinking Coffee Shop).
• Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA). To serve the page, the server may keep the IP address and request details in technical logs; beyond that, no personal data is collected.
• WhatsApp: the café’s group runs on WhatsApp, a service of Meta. As soon as you join the group, the other members can see your phone number and your WhatsApp name, and anything you write there; WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies.
• KAMA: a separate app by Tuncay Sancak on happytuncay.com. To use it, you create an account there; an online reading (via Groq, an AI service) only happens if you approve it. Whatever you enter or upload in KAMA (a dream, a photo, birth details) is handled by KAMA under its own rules; this website sees none of it. Tuncay’s account @happyshamanic is on Instagram, a service of Meta; Instagram’s own privacy policy applies.
• Cat Me If You Can: a separate game by Tuncay Sancak on happytuncay.com. Whatever the game stores (such as your nickname, cat photos, where a photo was taken, coupons, notices and messages) it handles under its own rules; this website sees none of it. Your photos are only checked by AI (via Groq, an AI service) if you approve it. When we check your coupon at the café counter, the game’s counter screen shows us your nickname, how many cats you found that day, the coupon code and the time; the redemption stays saved in the game.
• External links and services (Instagram, WhatsApp, happyiz.com, happytuncay.com, dytsedadoyan.com) are subject to their own privacy policies.
• There are security cameras in the café. If you have questions about the recordings, message us.

This site uses no cookies at all, neither essential nor optional ones. That is why there is no cookie banner.

Only the following is stored in your browser:

• Your choice of light or dark mode: if you tap “Dark mode” (in the top bar or in the “Pages” menu), your browser keeps that choice in its local storage. Without that choice, the page follows your device setting and nothing is stored for it.
• Your motion choice: if you switch motion off or back on with the “Motion” switch at the top, your browser keeps that choice (on or off) in the same local storage and reads it each time the page opens. If your device is set to reduce motion, nothing on the page moves and the switch doesn’t appear at all.
• That the drawing on the door has already played in this tab: a small marker in the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage) keeps it from playing again on its own in the same tab. It disappears when you close the tab.
• That the Kediköy cat has already walked in this tab: another small marker in the session storage (sessionStorage) keeps the cat from walking again by itself in the same tab. It also disappears when you close the tab.

All of this stays on your device, is sent to no one and disappears when you clear your browser data.

• We make no claims about health, diagnosis or therapy. This is a café.
• There are two photos: one shows the café from outside (as of October 2026), the other, on the “Who we are” page, shows Tuncay Sancak and Seda Doyan. The butterfly is the HAPPYiZ logo. The other images of cups, tea, a cat and furniture on this page are 3D images generated on a computer (Blender); they aren’t photos. They show moods, cups, tea and light, not the real room, and may differ from it; the 3D cat isn’t any particular cat either. Everything else that is drawn, we drew ourselves for this site. The small icons are from Lucide (lucide.dev, ISC licence).
• The Happyiz name, the HAPPYiZ wordmark and the butterfly logo belong to Tuncay Sancak. Any future branch or partner must say so in every advert.
