Wherever in the world you’re coming from.
Kadıköy is on the Asian side of Istanbul; Rasimpaşa is the neighbourhood right behind the Kadıköy ferry pier. If your travels take you to Istanbul, the ways to get here are below. We don’t ask where you’re from or what’s going on in your head. We speak Turkish, German and English.

Address
Rasimpaşa Mahallesi, Nakil Sokak No: 17A, 34716 Kadıköy, Istanbul; one of the streets of Yeldeğirmeni. You come in from the street, through the glass door; there’s a marble step in front of it.
By ferry
Take the ferry from Eminönü, Karaköy or Beşiktaş to the Kadıköy pier: about twenty minutes of sea, seagulls and the Bosphorus. Often the calmest part of the trip; at rush hour the ferry can be crowded.
Marmaray and metro
The Marmaray station Ayrılık Çeşmesi is on the edge of Rasimpaşa. From the European side, for example from Sirkeci or Yenikapı, Marmaray takes you to Ayrılık Çeşmesi without a change. The M4 metro runs without a change between Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) and Kadıköy and also stops at Ayrılık Çeşmesi; the M4 station Kadıköy is within walking distance too. From Istanbul Airport (IST) you need to change trains.
On foot
Nakil Sokak is right behind the Kadıköy ferry pier: about 400 metres as the crow flies, five to seven minutes on foot, the streets rise gently. From the M4 Kadıköy metro station it’s about 500 metres, from Marmaray and M4 Ayrılık Çeşmesi about 800 metres. If you don’t know the way, the button below opens the address in your maps app.
If you arrive tired
Istanbul is a loud city. When you get to the café, we’d like you to be able to sit for a while without talking first; you can also order later.
Goes to Google Maps (another website).
Ferry, metro and Marmaray times can change; check the current times before you set off: ferries with Şehir Hatları (the city ferries), the metro with Metro İstanbul, Marmaray with TCDD Taşımacılık (the Turkish state railway).
